Surrey police are currently investigating a series of distraction burglaries in the Bagshot area on Monday the 5th of April, in the later part of the afternoon .
Persons purporting to be tradesmen have entered the properties of elderly residents claiming to be either checking the water supply or for dry rot.

Having gained access they have stolen items from the properties, two on Green Lane, and one on Guildford Road in Bagshot.

Descriptions have been obtained which include;

A white male aged 30 to 40, about 5 foot 4 inches tall of stocky build with dark hair, a weather beaten face wearing a black and white chequered shirt.

A white male, in his 20s, about 5 foot 9 inches with blonde hair wearing a blue round neck jumper and pink trousers.

PS Jon Castell one of the local neighbourhood sergeants has described these as despicable people who are targeting the vulnerable in our community and asks residents to be vigilant, to check on their neighbours and report anything that may be suspicious.

If anyone has any information relating to these offences they are asked to call 101 quoting reference 45160026903
